Join us for the running of the 146th running of the Kentucky Derby!
Enjoy music with the Hannah Violet Trio from 11:30 to 2:30. The Flying V Food Truck. Starting at 2:30, we’ll be broadcasting the Kentucky Derby through NBC until we close at 4pm. Please note that we will NOT be staying open for the running of the main race at 7pm.
Wear your Kentucky Derby finest and sign up for our Hat contest! Register by 2pm, and judging will start by 2:45. Winner of the Best Hat contest will receive a $20 gift card to the tasting room. You must be present for the judging to win.
Also take part in our 50/50 contest with 50% of the winnings going to one lucky person and the out 50% going to Hope Springs Equestrian Therapy in Chester Springs. The mission of Hope Springs Equestrian Therapy is to enhance the quality of life of individuals with cognitive, physical, emotional or behavioral disabilities by providing them with affordable therapeutic horseback riding and associated special education of the highest possible quality, in a warm, safe and familiar environment. Tickets are $2 a piece, or $15 for 6 tickets plus a glass of wine or beer of your choice.
In addition, we’ll have Kentucky Derby drink specials. Enjoy Pineapple Mint Sangria and Mint Juleps throughout the afternoon!
