Artisan Cheese & Wine Pairing Event Weekend
Delicious pairing of unique cheeses from our local region paired with locally produced wines!
Join the wineries of the Berks County Wine Trail during two Fall weekends: September 29th & 30th and October 6th & 7th, 2018:
Artisan Cheese & Wine Pairing Event weekend on the Berks County Wine Trail is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy many different cheeses and wines during this annual event. Spend two glorious Fall weekends visiting 12 different wineries and tasting over two dozen different styles of cheeses paired with a vast array of featured wines of the Berks County region of Eastern Pennsylvania.
At Setter Ridge Vineyards we’re excited to be pairing up with Valley Milkhouse Creamery out of Oley. We’ll be offering delicious tastings of two of their cheeses.
Enjoy Clover (Our fresh fromage blanc is the versatile table cheese you won’t be able to live without. Clover’s delicate, silky texture and tart flavor is reminiscent of greek yogurt that is perfectly spreadable at room temperature) topped with Lovers Leap Wine Jelly paired with Lovers Leap
We’re also happy to have a soon to be released cheese available for tasting. Check back shortly for additional details on this delicious cheese (in addition to it’s name)!
Ticket holders will get to enjoy samples of different styles of cheese at each winery, paired with fantastic wines! Wine & Cheese, what a blissful way to spend the day….discovering the which cheese pairs best with which wines.
Tickets are now available for purchase online via Local Wine Events (click on button below) or at individual wineries. Tickets will be valid at all 12 wineries during the event weekend (either day). Early bird tickets are available now through September 27th at $15/ea (plus online ticketing fees). Tickets purchased between September 28th and October 7th will be $20/ea (plus online ticketing fees).
This wine trail event is “self-guided;” create your own adventure as a day-trip during this Autumn weekend, visiting each of the wineries along the Berks County Wine Trail.
Ticket proceeds from the event help pay for the wine trail’s annual expenses (website, maps, brochures).
